House Rabbit BoardingAt Posh Bunny Retreat your house rabbits/bunnies
can enjoy a comfortable and peaceful stay in a home from home environment. I now only board one single rabbit or bonded pair at any one time. I have five house rabbits of my own so I understand the needs & requirements for house rabbits. Please Note: I am no longer providing indoor boarding for large breed house rabbits and I am currently only taking bookings from existing clients, however I will consider bookings for mini lop house rabbits. Indoor Rabbit Boarding includes:
![]() Accommodation Your house rabbits will stay in a dedicated rabbit room in their own accommodation. They will be provided with quality woodshavings in their litter tray. Feel free to bring any of your rabbits favourite blankets, beds etc. Food Please bring a supply of your rabbits
usual dry food with you, to avoid stomach upsets. Unlimited quality hay
will be provided each day. Pease provide your own vegetables/fruit/herbs or leave additional payment for fresh to be
purchased. Exercise, Fun, & Playtime A fun part of your rabbits stay, is they can enjoy a supervised run about in my large garden which is fully rabbit proof (weather permitting). Visit the posh bunny retreat gallery to
view the happy guests. Your rabbit will also have access to a garden
run for exercise (weather permitting). House rabbits have the benefit of the rabbit room to play in, where they can just relax or have a race about. Your rabbit must be fully litter trained to have exercise time in the rabbit room. Rabbits will be provided with tunnels, hideaways and toys. If your rabbit has a favourite toy or tunnel, etc feel free to bring it along. Health & Hygiene Litter trays cleaned out twice daily, more if necessary. I carry out daily health checks. From Spring until the end of Summer it is recommended that your rabbits are treated with Rearguard or equivalent to reduce the risk of flystrike. Although I carry out routine checks, I monitor your rabbits throughout the day to ensure they are happy and healthy. Your rabbit must be vaccinated against Myxomatosis and Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (VHD). If you live in a semi-rural or rural location I require your rabbit to have been vaccinated every 6 months for myxomatosis. Please bring a copy of your rabbits vaccination certificate with you. I require that both male and female house rabbits are neutered/spayed, unless they are too young to be neutered/spayed at the time of their stay. Prices & Booking For details of prices, please click here If you would like to book, contact us with details of dates required and I will send you a booking form, terms & conditions and care form to fill out and return with deposit. If your rabbit has special/different requirements, please state at time of booking. Our facilities are not limited to visitors from the Leeds area, as we have had visitors from other Yorkshire regions. ![]() |
