Make Mine Chocolate Campaign

Make Mine Chocolate

Join Posh Bunny Retreat and support the Make Mine Chocolate Campaign.

The Make Mine Chocolate campaign was brought to the UK by Lisa Whitty of the Hay Experts.

This exciting campaign aims to raise awareness of the sad plight of the thousands of pet rabbits bought as presents at Easter and then abandoned months if not weeks later.

The Make Mine Chocolate campaign is working hard to spread the message that ‘Chocolate is a Treat, Rabbits are a Commitment’.

2009 was the first year of the long-term campaign to end the sale of rabbits as Easter presents. To see the yearly campaign aims why not look at their mission.

So why not join us? Buying one of our super yummy choccy coloured bunny badges will help raise money to highlight the plight of Easter bunnies everywhere, as well as looking good!

Sadly the badges are not edible - but just like a real rabbit, the badge will still be with you in 10 years time!

Why not buy a badge for a friend or check out some of the other ways in which you can support the campaign through purchases that raise awareness?

The welfare of rabbits is very important to me , thats why I decided to support the campaign to help spread awareness of the level of commitment required in owning a rabbit.

So think first, can I offer the level of commitment required, if not make yours CHOCOLATE!

I have seven rabbits and understand their needs, I am happy to share my experiences and make you aware of what is involved.

If you are thinking of getting a rabbit, please do your research. If you are thinking of buying for a child you need to consider that the work involved caring for a rabbit may be too much for them or they may even get bored so you need to be aware the responsibility will be yours as an adult, therefore we encourage you to consider the needs and commitment involved in rabbit ownership.
